Help
Answers to the questions we are asked most about Sleepeek, and how to contact us.
Contact us
A question, a problem, an idea: write to contact@sleepeek.com. We read every message and reply.
For a problem in the app, tell us your iPhone model and iOS version: it helps us find the cause faster.
Recording a night
How do I start a night? On the “Tonight” screen, set the start and wake-up times on the dial, then tap “Start the night”. Put your iPhone on the bedside table, about 50 cm (20 in) from your head, plugged into its charger, with nothing in front of the microphone.
Can I lock my iPhone? Yes. Recording continues while the screen is locked.
How do I stop? Use “Slide to end” on the night screen. Otherwise, recording stops on its own at the wake-up time you chose.
Nothing was recorded. Check that Sleepeek can use the microphone: iPhone Settings > Sleepeek > Microphone. A quiet night may also have no moments at all: Sleepeek only keeps the moments when there is noise.
Subtitles
Speech is transcribed on your iPhone, in your phone’s language, after a short analysis in the morning. The first time, iOS downloads the recognition model for that language. If no transcription appears, check that a language supported by iOS is set on your iPhone.
Sleepeek+ and purchases
What is free? Recording every night in full, sorting sounds, subtitles, the score and sharing as a video. The free version keeps your last 7 nights.
What does Sleepeek+ unlock? All your nights kept, comparing your remedies, the PDF report for your doctor and exporting your sounds. Monthly, cancel anytime, or for life with a single payment, shared with your family.
I changed iPhones and my purchase is gone. In the app, open Settings > “Keep all your nights”, then tap “Restore Purchases”, with the same Apple Account you bought with.
How do I cancel the subscription? Apple manages the subscription: iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Sleepeek. Apple explains it on Cancel a subscription from Apple.
How do I get a refund? Payments go through Apple, which decides on refunds: make your request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
Your recordings, their subtitles and your notes stay on your iPhone, with no account. You can delete a sound, a night or everything from the app’s settings; deleting the app deletes everything. The details are on the Privacy page.
Your health
Sleepeek is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything. If someone has seen you stop breathing at night, or if you are tired despite full nights, talk to a doctor.
